the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, concerts in Boston,
Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Festival of Indian
Music in Seattle. Germany: played on Bio's Bahnhof TV programme in
Cologne, and gave a ninety minute broadcast with three of his sons on
Radio Bremen, relayed live by 36 radio stations around the world.

Opened the Greece-India Festival with a recital at the Acropolis in
Athens, and performed at the ancient theatre in Delphi.

International season, with recitals at the Bath Festival (UR) and the
Rabindranath Tagore Centenary Festivals in London and Calcutta. Headed a
cultural delegation sent to China by the Indian Government.

Opening of the Festival of India in Moscow, followed by a tour of 25
concerts all over the USSR with his four sons, including recitals at the
Kremlin Palace and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow.

(UK). Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Muslim Music Festival of the World. Royal

on BBC Radio. France: recital at Rochechouart Castle, near Limoges. Tour
of USA, including Chicago, University of Illinois, and New York, Symphony
Space on Broadway.
